Welcome
I am glad you found your way here.
Welcome
I am glad you found your way here.
My name is Laura Forcella Spiering, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I specialize in helping adults develop new skills to cope with and overcome:
Anxiety (health anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism)
Obsessive compulsive disorder
ADHD and difficulty focusing
Stress (life transitions, difficulty sleeping, feelings of overwhelm)
You don’t have to keep pretending you are okay or face these challenges alone.
I know it is hard to make the time for therapy, and we often prioritize others over ourselves. Now is the time to pause, shift focus to your own needs, and develop new coping skills so that you can live the life you want. There are many reasons we become stuck. Let's work together to help you achieve your goals and live a more fulfilling life.

How to get started:
How do I schedule a session?
You’re welcome to call, text, or email me to schedule a session or set up a free 15-minute intro call. You can also reach out just to ask questions—I’m happy to help you determine if I’m the right fit.
📞 Phone: 307-272-5856
📧 Email: laura@lcsw1.net
Once we’ve had our first session and you’re established as a client, you’ll have access to my self-scheduling calendar to book future appointments at your convenience.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is focused on understanding what’s bringing you in, what’s been getting in the way, and how I can best support you. I’ll also go over how I work so you can get a feel for whether this approach feels like a good fit.
How do I know if my insurance will cover therapy?
If you're unsure how your insurance works or whether I’m in-network, we can talk through it during the consultation. I’m happy to help you understand your options and what to ask your insurance provider.
What types of therapy do you offer?
I draw from several evidence-based approaches depending on your needs and goals. These include Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), traditional CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused brief therapy. I-CBT is an effective approach for OCD and illness anxiety disorder and does not rely on exposures.
What if I’m not sure therapy is right for me?
That’s completely okay. Many clients begin therapy feeling unsure or nervous. There’s no pressure to commit long-term. The free intro call or first session gives you a chance to clarify your goals and explore what kind of support makes sense.
Do you offer short-term or long-term therapy?
I offer both. We’ll talk about your goals and determine what works best for your situation. Some people benefit from short-term focused therapy, while others find longer-term support more helpful.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes, with a few legal exceptions, everything we discuss in therapy is confidential. I’ll go over those exceptions with you in our first session and in the consent paperwork.
What if I’m in crisis?
I do not provide emergency services. If you are in crisis, please call or text 988 or go to the nearest emergency room.
