Welcome
I am glad you found your way here.
Welcome
I am glad you found your way here.
My name is Laura Forcella Spiering, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I’m skilled in supporting adults experiencing anxiety, health anxiety, perfectionism, overwhelm, and obsessive compulsive disorder to overcome doubt, increase confidence, and improve your emotional well-being. I also support clients who are experiencing ADHD and other challenges. You don’t have to keep pretending you are okay or face these challenges alone.
I believe in the importance of using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. I draw from a variety of approaches and tailor therapy to meet your needs. These modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am trained and experienced in I-CBT and enthusiastic about this evidence-based approach to treating obsessive-compulsive disorder. I-CBT is a compassionate and effective form of psychotherapy that addresses obsessional doubt and does not require the use of exposures.
I know it is hard to make the time for therapy, and we often prioritize others over ourselves. Now is the time to pause, shift focus to your own needs, and develop new coping skills so that you can live the life you want. There are many reasons we become stuck. Let's work together to help you achieve your goals and live a more fulfilling life.
